VG1 is predominantly a de facto senior community, although not age-restricted. It is a "Mandatory Homeowners Association" which means that there are governing documents to be followed by Homeowners and Residents.

VG1 is primarily an owner-occupied community with lease limitations. The HOA is run by volunteers. A staggered Board of Directors is elected and the Operating Budget approved by an annual homeowner vote. Various committees cover the other needs and aspects of the community. The competitive monthly dues include community-wide lawn care, the sprinkler system/water, street maintenance, and periodic exterior painting. Our residents enjoy living in an environment that is quiet and has a pleasant sense of community.
